Hello colleagues. The "Research Help Desk" at the University of Oregon Libraries was recently reassigned to my department, Access Services. I'm wondering if any of you might know about online training resources designed for (or appropriate for) paraprofessionals and student assistants who work at a "reference desk." I'm specifically interested in resources that introduce the idea of reference interviews and on-demand research help and ILI. Ideally, the training tools would help build competencies necessary to assist library patrons through the third or fourth level of the READ Scale before referring to a research/instruction librarian. Thanks in advance for your help, and feel free to share ideas with me off-list.
