Message: I agree with what others have said - good identification of important trends, but the critical librarianship section could be unpacked a bit more.

Subject: Request for feedback: Draft 2020 ACRL Top Trends

On behalf of the ACRL Research and Planning Committee, I am sharing, for Board review and comments, the attached draft 2020 ACRL Top Trends.

Biennially, the ACRL Research Planning and Review Committee is responsible for identifying ACRL top trends for publication in the June issue of C&RL News, and in non-conference years, the committee welcomes feedback from the ACRL Board.

The committee is finalizing citations, but welcomes your comments and thoughts on the attached draft. Please post your feedback in ALA Connect by Friday, February 28, and I will compile and send to the committee.

Please note that there will only be a virtual discussion and no formal vote will take place, as the Board traditionally only reviews and submits comments on this document.

Let me know if you have questions.
