Dear Colleagues,

The Chinese American Librarian Association (CALA) is soliciting scholarship applications from students and new librarians. CALA offers several scholarships, including the CALA Scholarship of Library and Information Science, the Sheila Suen Lai Scholarship, and the Lisa Zhao Scholarship. Open to full-time students and new librarians of Chinese descent, these scholarships are designed to encourage professional and leadership development in Chinese American librarianship. More information about the scholarships, including eligibility and application materials, can be found at <https://www.cala-web.org/awards/cala_scholarships>.

Application deadline is March 30, 2022. If you have any questions about the scholarships and/or the application process, please feel free to contact me.

Best,

Lijuan Xu
