Thank You Erik, and thanks to the entire GRC for the work you have done this past year.
I will be cycling off the ACRL BOD on June 30th.
You will have a new Board Liaison come July 1st.
Going forward, I wish you all well.

Hello GRC Committee:

We are not planning to have a meeting during ALA.

I will work with incoming chair Kevin Walker to ensure a good handoff of materials (though as a returning chair, Kevin knows the ropes really well).  He and I will complete an updated Report and Workplan to close out the work our of our 2021-22 committee, and kick-off the work of the 2022-23 committee.

According to the ACRL Directory of Leadership, the 2022-23 committee will include several continuing members:

  • Kevin Walker, chair
  • Hallie Pritchett, vice chair
  • Dan DeSanto (who was extended through 2024)
  • H. Pedelty
  • Ray Pun
  • Kaitlyn Tanis

And three new participants:

  • Natalie Marquez
  • Vivienne McClendon
  • Maribel Pagan

All the best as you navigate the new legislative season and any changes wrought by the midterm elections!

Leaving the committee at the end of June are:

  • Mark Offermatt
  • Daniel Cardwell
  • Angela Hackstadt

I want to thank you all for your service.

I, too, will be leaving the committee, but will think of you whenever I see a news item concerning some legislative issue in Washington

Best,

Erik Nordberg
