5 Things: Learning About Contemplative Pedagogy

Contemplative pedagogy is instruction that is more mindful, respectful, and cognizant of the needs of both instructors and learners in the classroom. The Research & Scholarship Committee of the ACRL Instruction Section has gathered five resources ranging from 30-minute reads to a 15-minute video to provide an introduction to this very timely topic:

Since 2008, the "Five Things" series has educated readers about topics relevant to library instruction that are either timely or underdiscussed. The series' emphasis is on current, targeted information and is intended to be a user-friendly entry into keeping up with important trends in library instruction research and practice.

Please share widely!

Kind regards,
