Hello all,
Attached are all of the Concerns and Commendations that will be discussed by the Affiliate Assembly at ALA Annual 2018. Please note that the final concern (#8) will be discussed Friday, June 22nd at 2:00 p.m. after the Library Ecosystems program during the Leadership Development portion of the session. It will be voted on separately at the Affiliate Assembly I meeting on Friday evening. All other Concerns and Commendations will be discussed and voted on at Affiliate Assembly II on Sunday morning.
Hard copies of Concerns and Commendations will be available at the meetings.
The dates for the Affiliate Assembly meetings are as follows:
- Friday, June 22; 11:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. - State Library Advocacy: Enhancing Collaboration and Strengthening Library Ecosystems*
- Morial Convention Center; Room 293-294
- Friday, June 22; 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. - Affiliate Assembly I
- New Orleans Downtown Marriot at the Convention Center; Blaine Kern A-D
- Sunday, June 24; 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. - Affiliate Assembly II
- Morial Convention Center; Room 265-268
* Please note, the Ecosystem portion of the session will end at 1:00 pm and the Leadership Development portion will run from 1:15 pm-3:00 pm.
