• Bio

As a high school librarian and a regular reviewer for School Library Journal and other publications, I love books! And kids-- my own and my students. So as I suggest great books to kids, I've got the best of all worlds. Of course, libraries today go way beyond books, and I get to help students figure out how to navigate the abundance of information they have at their fingertips. What arouses their curiosity, and where can they find the best sources to answer their big questions?

I've been a school librarian for 9 years, both at the elementary and high school level. No matter what their ages, students want a space where they feel welcome and included.
