Who are we?

The ALCTS New Members Interest Group is an “Open” community. PLEASE give us the opportunity to talk with you, help you, and work with you.

Please feel free to contact us with your suggestions, concerns, and interests.

The “ALCTS New Members” Interest Group (ANMIG) http://connect.ala.org/node/85257, announces their first meeting at ALA Midwinter on Saturday January 16, 2010, 10:30-Noon. Location to be announced.

“What’s on Your Mind: How can ALCTS serve New Members”

In anticipation of our first meeting at ALA Midwinter, we are opening up the forum to discuss how we can better serve ALCTS New Members.

Do you have ideas about how ALCTS serves new members? Have you been thinking of new or established ways to interact with ALCTS?

How are you communicating with fellow members and colleagues? ALAConnect, Facebook, twitter, etc… Many of you have shown an interest in mentoring opportunities; tell us how we can help? The ANMIG is an “ Open” group, so tell us who you would like to collaborate with outside of your area of expertise?

We want to hear from you!

We are encouraging new members to come and be heard. Share your values, interests, and concerns. We will discuss any topic brought to the table.
