Discussion Brainstorming - Online reference resources for serving Spanish speakers
Hi all!
It's time to BRAINSTORM!
I'm interested in hearing from you about one of our proposed focuses/projects for '09-10: enhancing our online presence to support librarians serving Spanish-speaking populations. I mentioned earlier that we might want to create a survey that could be used to gather input on what elements would be most useful - perhaps content areas of greatest need, or whether it's actual content that we should offer in terms of providing annotated lists of sources in Spanish, OR techniques for finding that information...
When you get a chance, could you think about the following questions and respond with your thoughts?
What is the goal of this project?
How do you see this "online presence" shaping up? What would the product look like? Are their efforts that exist that we can use (and not duplicate)?
What do we want to know from RUSA members to make sure we're focusing on the right place and being most useful?
Do you have more questions and thoughts to raise?
Thanks so much for your time and efforts!
Marjorie
