Post Public Librarian resume review request

Hello,

 

I am a recent MLIS graduate (6/2009!) interested in work in urban public library settings. Would it be possible for someone to please give me feedback on my resume (format, content, language etc)?

Hi Matt, Thanks for posting your resume! Hopefully, one of the reviewers will take a look at it soon. This may be a hectic week though since everyone is gearing up for ALA in Chicago. If you'll be in Chicago, I recommend dropping into the in-person Resume Review Service. We'll be in the ALA Placement Center in McCormick South, Grand Ballroom.

Matthew,

Your resume is good!  Bullets stating what you accomplished is excellent.  Keep in mind that the jobs completed can be moved around to stress things you have done that address the job being applied for.  I have shuffled my jobs around to fit the job applied for.

Thanks Marta,

 I always have a hard time deciding whether it should be strictly chronological or to shuffle my jobs. I will keep your advice in mind when I am applying for jobs.
