Membership Pavilion, Booth 3034
In response to good feedback from the Round Tables last year, we’ve redesigned the space to provide all Divisions and Round Tables with the same size and shape of displays. We hope that you will find this to be more useful, easier to manage and more attractive for your membership offerings. Space
Each Round Table will have 1.25 meter area that will include a slat-wall back panel for display and a counter top area for literature distribution. Plenty of storage space will be available. Various Plexiglas and wire displays for the slat wall and counter top are provided at no charge.
Materials
Please limit your handouts to a maximum quantity of 250 for each piece. Feel free to use your space for handouts as well as signage. If you need custom signs for events or programs and cannot produce them yourself, please contact your staff liaison.
Staffing
The ALA Membership Development Office will be staffing the Pavilion and will take care of restocking materials and making sure the area is tidy. Volunteers are not required, but are most welcome.
Set-up
Materials should be addressed to Booth # 3034. Volunteers can arrive to help set up your area beginning 12 noon Thursday, July 9th, please keep in mind that set up must be completed by 5 pm Friday, July 10th. If you cannot supply volunteer set-up, please ask your staff liaison to coordinate with me in Membership Development.
Pavilion Sessions (101 Programs)
If your Round Table is planning a Pavilion Session (101 Program) your presenter should plan to arrive at the pavilion 5 – 10 minutes early in order to set up their multimedia needs. Questions about the schedule or other details can be directed to me, Tina Coleman, at ccoleman@ala.org.
