The committee supports librarians who teach in academic libraries, by tracking emerging teaching methods, research, and theory.  It aims to encourage the professional development of librarians as educators, by disseminating information and resources concerning innovative and effective teaching methods, educational assessment, and instructional design and technologies.  Activities may include professional development offerings; online communications; and showcasing librarians and practice.
