Handout Exchange screenshotThe goal of the GODORT Handout Exchange is to gather into one place the many tools available to government information librarians to assist in the successful management of electronic government information and in building advocacy skills to promote access to this information. To speed the creation of instructional materials and save the time of fellow librarians, the Exchange includes example handouts and websites on numerous government information-related topics. The Exchange also includes sample policies, instructions, and training tools for library management.

The Handout Exchange moved to the GODORT wiki in 2008. The intent was to facilitate easier maintenance and updating of the Exchange. The project thrives on fresh content, so please feel free to add your handouts, guides, and tutorials to the Exchange to assist your government information colleagues. We don't need to reinvent the wheel. We can provide templates for one another to save time, share models, and work smarter.
