 The Margaret E. Monroe Award committee is proud to announce the following selection for the 2012 award: 

“Neal Wyatt has promoted and influenced library services to adults for more than twenty years through her dedication as writer, teacher, mentor and original thinker. She has helped shape the field of readers’ advisory services by taking it in new and creative directions. Her collaborative leadership has engaged many professionals in considering approaches that have expanded reflection on the changing role and practice of adult services librarianship. Over the years her numerous presentations at both state and national library association conferences have helped ignite a renewed interest in readers’ advisory services. Her many contributions to the profession make her an outstanding candidate with whom we honor with the Margaret E. Monroe award. “
