The University Libraries support the learning and research missions of the University through its print and electronic resources, reference and instructional services, and other outreach programs. With a budget of over $9 million, the University Libraries include the main Walter Clinton Jackson Library and the Harold Schiffman Music Library. Current library holdings number more than 2.47 million printed books, federal and state documents, microforms, music scores, and other materials. The Resident will be encouraged to deliver presentations, attend national and regional conferences, and/or write for professional publications.
