PRINCIPAL LIBRARIAN – REFERENCE SERVICES

(Salary $ 117,648 - $145,248/yr. + professional incentive pay and cashable leave days.)
Job Summary:
Oversees and manages the activities of the reference and circulation work units. Develops and directs a range of reference programs and services for the public as well as circulation processes and procedures system-wide. Coordinates the selection and maintenance of collections that serve community needs. Oversees training for staff and the public on the use of library resources.
Requires:
A Master's degree from an American Library Association (ALA) accredited college or university in Library Science. Five years of recent, paid progressively responsible work experience as a professional librarian. At least two of the recent, paid years of work experience must have included supervisory and management responsibilities. Possession of a valid Class C driver license or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.
