The City of San Mateo is hiring an innovative, energetic, and creative teen librarian to oversee our services to Young Adults. This full-time (37.5 hours per week) position is part of a team that provides reference and reader’s advisory services, oversees collection development for adults and teens, and coordinates programming, technology instruction, and outreach. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic self-starter that enjoys working in a busy environment with a diverse library population. The candidate in this role will have a unique opportunity to participate in revitalizing our Teen Lounge space and services to teens.
