The Membership Committee contacted all New, Renewing, Reinstating and Non-renewing (or dropped) IFRT members. We sent them out a letter with our contact information, and with links to all of grand benefits they are receiving. Thanks so much to Kristin and Ellie for all of the work they have done to promote membership and to Steve and the previous Membership Committee.

The IFRT Program Committee, chaired by Bill Marden of NYPL, is working on its program for the ALA 2018 Annual Conference in New Orleans. The program is shaping up to be a lively discussion of a current topic related to patron privacy; and will be in conjunction with a separate panel presentation by the Intellectual Freedom Committee’s Subcommittee on Privacy. Stay tuned for more details!
