    The George A. Smathers Libraries at the University of Florida are currently recruiting for a Metadata Librarian in the Digital Production Services Department. This is an impactful and dynamic position responsible for creating and revising all types of metadata, developing and assessing workflows, creating and delivering trainings, collaborating on large and small projects, and promoting creative approaches for managing metadata. We seek a colleague who understands metadata and the importance of the work of data curation and who sees the big picture while working with the details on a daily basis. We work in an environment that encourages participation in decision making and values continual learning and creative thinking.
