FAFLRT and ASCLA hosting: Leadership and Librarianship are a Team Sport at ALA Annual in Chicago

Sunday, June 25, 2017
10:30 am to 11:30 am

We invite you to attend the program session hosted by FAFLRT/co-sponsored ASCLA

Leadership and Librarianship are a Team Sport

Date: Sunday, June 25th 10:30 – 11:30 am

Speaker: Dr. Edward A. Scott, Associate Dean and Director, McDermott Library, United States Air Force Academy

The juxtaposition of an Englishman erudite pedigree meld with his genteel Southern upbringing produces a quick witticism or a calming response.  Never one to mince words, you know that whatever advice Dr. Scott dispense will be honest, relevant, humorous, and at times, hard to swallow. If the problem is lack of maturity and inexperience be prepared for his signature phrase “it sucks to be you!” comment.  Edward Scott, offers words of wisdom, satirical insights, and jovial sarcasm about how you can build a productive team.

Personal motto – “It is my mission to help you succeed. To help you learn and grow into a leader.”

See the attached flyer for more details.
