ALA Connect User logins are disabled for a temporary "gray-out" period, to prevent new posts while we upgrade into the New Connect. This gray-out period will begin on March 26th, and the new site will be launched on April 25th.

Users can use Search to view public content. Logins will be reinstated and users can create new posts, upload files, etc. post launch.

ACRL Academic/Research Librarian of the Year--Call for Nominations

Do you know the next ACRL Academic/Research Librarian of the Year winner? 

ACRL is now accepting nominations for the ACRL Academic/Research Librarian of the Year. This prestigious award recognizes an outstanding member of the library profession who has made a significant national or international contribution to academic or research librarianship and library development.

The award, sponsored by YBP Library Services, comes with a plaque and a $5,000 award. 

Electronic submissions are required. Applicants must submit a nomination formand supporting documents via email to Chase Ollis, collis@ala.org. The nomination form must be completed in its entirety.

Nominations must be received by December 2, 2016, to receive full consideration.
