    The WSU Libraries are now recruiting for a Library and Archives Paraprofessional 2 in the Access Services Unit on the Pullman campus. This half-time, twelve-month, civil- service position is now open for applications.     Library and Archives Paraprofessional 2; Washington State University Libraries, Pullman, WA
    The primary responsibility of this position is to respond to and assist patrons, lead/train temporary employees, monitor and maintain hold shelf, perform basic ILL functions, monitor outgoing mail in mail room, and monitor books pulled for maintenance (tattletaping, mending, erasing). The hours for this position are Monday-Friday, midnight-4:00AM. Schedule will vary during academic breaks. WSU is an EEO/AA educator and employer.


    Required Qualifications:
    High school graduation or equivalent and three years’ experience in the functional operations of a library including one year beyond the entry level, or an associate degree in library technology from an accredited program and one year of technical experience in the functional operations of a library. Ability to work Monday-Friday, midnight-4:00AM.


    Preferred Qualifications:
    Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
