The program for the 2016 Conference on Inclusion and Diversity in Library and Information Science (CIDLIS) is now available at: http://go.umd.edu/CIDLIS2016. Registration is still open to attend CIDLIS 2016 at the University of Maryland on October 20 and 21. As always, attendance is free and so is the food.

With three workshops, three dozen presentations and posters, and a keynote by Dr. Sandra Hughes-Hassell on the ability of libraries to engage and empower youth of color, CIDLIS 2016 will feature an exciting and insightful program that addresses diversity, inclusion, rights, and justice in LIS professions, institutions, education, and research.

CIDLIS is the one annual event at which practitioners, educators, and scholars interested in issues of diversity, inclusion, rights, and justice in LIS can gather to learn, share, and network, CIDLIS has grown in five years to now draw attendees from across the United States and Canada, as well as from Europe and Asia.
