Are you a self-starter who enjoys helping people? Do you have experience providing research services and planning programs in a public library that embraces change? If so, you might be just the person for us. The primary responsibilities for these positions are to staff the research (reference) desk, identify and/or participate in programs and services, assume responsibility for some collection development, and make recommendations to further our goals and enhance our role in the community. Qualifications include a Master of Library Science degree from an ALA accredited university and a minimum of two years of reference experience at a public library after receiving the MLS.
The Full Time Research and Instruction Librarian will work 40 hours a week. The Part Time Research and Instruction Librarian works approximately 24 hours a week. Both positions work at the Delmar location.
