    Hi Everyone,

I am looking forward to seeing all of you who will be attending ALA ANNUAL.  I wanted to give you the details of our meetings and program that we will have in Orlando.

Our open Board Meeting is on Saturday, June 25 from 8:30 to 10:00 in the Rosen Centre Hotel  Salon 15/16

followed by our very popular Book Discussion Group from 10:30 to 11:30 in the same room  Rosen Centre Hotel Salon 15/16

On Monday there will be my RMRT President's program entitled:

"Fast and Easy: Advocacy that YOU can do! "

                                              SUNDAY

                                              JUNE 26, 2016

                                              1:00 PM TO 2:30 PM

                                              OCCC (CONFERENCE CENTER) ROOM W106

I am very excited to have Emily Sheketoff , Director of the ALA Washington Office, as one of our speakers. Other exciting panel members will be Marci Merola, Director of the Office on Advocacy and Jan Sanders, COL member and Director of Pasadena Public Library.

The program is designed to give easy ways for people, particularly retired folks, to get involved with advocacy for libraries. .  This  should prove to be a very helpful session complete with valuable handouts. Please plan to attend and bring others with you. Also please spread the program information far and wide.

The program will begin with the presentation of the Norman Horrocks-Rowan & Littlefield Annual Conference Award to this year's winner Deborah Levitor.

I hope to see all of you there. We need the support of all of you as we continue to grow and improve RMRT.

    Thanks you,

    Vivian
