    Hello, Spectrum Scholars,

Please excuse any duplication of this survey invite, but I want to be sure to reach out to this list, urge you to participate if you do assessment or evaluation in any way at your library, and ask that you help distribute this survey invite widely across the U.S. This is my first participation on national survey project, and the first collaborative project to come out the new Research and Assessment Interest Group that I formed in the Georgia Library Association just a few months ago.  As you can imagine, I am very excited about the whole project and hoping we get an excellent response rate.  Please help spread the word!!!   -- Cristina Hernández Trotter, Spectrum Scholar '03

We are conducting a research study looking at the current state of library assessment and evaluation in the United States. We welcome input from anyone who self-identifies as being responsible for any type of assessment or evaluation in any kind of library.

Your feedback will help illustrate what is currently being assessed in U.S. libraries, what tools and methods are employed, how the results are used, and what gaps exist in skills and assessment needs.

The survey may take as little as five minutes to complete. There are several free-response sections where you may choose to spend more time.

Click here to participate in this survey. The survey will close on Friday, June 3rd.

Your participation in the survey is completely voluntary and all of your responses will be kept confidential. No personally identifiable information will be associated with your responses to any reports of these data. Should you have any comments or questions, please feel free to contact Cristina Trotter at chtrotter@gmail.com.

    Thank you for your help,
