    ALA Sustainability Round Table


    Minutes, January 20, 2015 Conference Call, 3:30 pm (EST)


    Present: Ashley Jones, Coordinator; Madeleine Charney, Coordinator Elect; Matthew Bollerman, Secretary; Rebekkah Smith Aldrich, Member at Large and Peter Hepburn


    Meeting was called to order at 3:30 pm.


    Peter shared some items of interest. He will be sharing the Talking Points coming from the Executive Board for the coming year. He was also interested to know if we were aware of the resolution before council regarding the divestment of fossil fuels. This is a resolution that SRRT is advancing.


    SustainRT has two programs arranged for the Mid Winter Conference:


    Saturday, January 31, 1 to 2:30 pm, SustainRT Executive Board Meeting, all are welcome. Meeting will take place at Hilton Chicago, Conference Room 5C.


    The agenda for the Board meeting will include the following:


    Sustainability Resolution


    House Keeping Calendar


    Update with Coordinator Elect


    Annual Programming - Bd mtg and lightning round


    Treasurers Report


    Working Groups Progress


    And a possible visit from an ALA Presidential candidate


    Marketing and Outreach and the Education Working Groups need help. Two separate emails will be sent out seeking members and one looking for candidates for the Coordinator-Elect position.


    Sunday, February 1, 3 pm, SustainRT Social Event, all are welcome to meet up at Hyatt Regency McCormick, Clark/CC 22C. Ice Skating at Millennium Park is 5 miles away. Can travel via cab. Open until 9 pm. Free to skate and rentals are available.


    A request for a membership list to allow for matching names to faces.
