The mission of the Government Documents Round Table (GODORT) is to (1) To provide a forum for discussion of problems, concerns, and for exchange of ideas by librarians working with government documents; (2) to provide a force for initiating and supporting programs to increase availability, use, and bibliographic control of documents; (3) to increase communication between documents librarians and other librarians; (4) to contribute to the extension and improvement of education and training of documents librarians.

    Everyone,


     


       Details have not yet been completely finalized, but in response to a couple of inquiries, I would like to post a preliminary agenda for the Federal Documents Task Force meeting here  which is scheduled for Sunday, February 1 at 8:30 - 10:00 a.m in the Gallen Room in the Swissotel.


    1)  Welcome and Introductions.  5 minutes.


    2)  Approval of June 29, 2014 Meeting Minutes.  Up to 5 minutes.


    1)  Committee Liaison Reports.   5 - 10 minutes.


    2) GPO Update:  Mary Alice Baish, Superintendent of Documents.   Approx. 30 minutes.


    3)  Letter in Response to National Plan for the Future of the FDLP:  Jill Vasillakos-Long.  10 minutes?


    4)  Draft of One-Page Handout on FDLP for Legislators:  Jill Vasillakos-Long.  Approx. 5 minutes.


    5)  NTIS Situation Update:  Bernadine Abbott Hoduski.  Approx. 5 minutes.


    6)  PACER Court Records Situation Update:  Bernadine Abbott Hoduski.   Approx. 5 minutes.


    7)  Ideas for New Fugitive Documents Workflow:  James Jacobs.   Approx. 10 minutes.


       As you can see, it's a pretty full agenda.  The order of items above may change as I learn more between now and February 1.
