  • Brandon Sanderson
  • Cory Doctorow
  • David Brin
  • Elizabeth Bear
  • John Scalzi
  • Timothy Zahn

Meeting

  • We had 14 attendees at the meeting.
  • Bree Kirsch gave a brief introduction and Cara Kinsey provided a history of the Imagineering Interest Group.
  • We talked about the program.
  • The group’s future endeavors were discussed along with the idea of creating a blog focused on science fiction and fantasy, particularly on reader's advisory since this request has come up multiple times in the past.
  • Frank Skornia offered to host and create a blog for the group.
  • The idea of offering a webinar or two through LITA about reader's advisory topics was brought up and Helen and Bree will try to follow up on this.
  • Then we had an open discussion for the rest of the meeting time about science fiction and fantasy.
