Hello everyone,
I wanted to thank everyone who voted in the recent HSIG election and announce that Julie Planchon Wolf, Research & Instruction/Nursing Librarian, Campus Library at the University of Washington Bothell, and Cascadia Community College, was elected with 79% of the vote as the Incoming Convener of Health Science Interest Group, 2014-15. We will all look forward to meeting her in Chicago! Congratulations, Julie!
As we are looking forward to annual, please put the HSIG meeting on your calendar. I have applied for two consecutive timeslots in one room so we can have a 1 hour MLA CE workshop on Medical Statistics on the Web taught by Karen Vargas followed by our annual business meeting. Though it looks like the two meetings have a break of 30 minutes, they will not.
