    Greetings GODORT Members!

There are still plenty of rooms available for ALA Annual in Chicago.  If you haven't booked your lodgings yet, now is the time to do so!  The GODORT Hotel is the Sheraton. Go to the ALA 2013 website to book your stay: http://ala13.ala.org/hotels

Benefits of staying in the GODORT Hotel include getting to see your gov info colleagues from far and wide outside of meetings and events AND if the scheduling is anything like Midwinter, those 8am meetings might just be an easy elevator ride down to the first floor.  Also, the Sheraton is walking distance to the Navy Pier, Lake Michigan, Millenium Park and lot of other great sights of Chi-town.

Once you have registered for housing, GODORT Steering recommends you check with Sarah Erekson, serekson@chipublib.org, so she can ensure your reservation is included in the GODORT Block of Rooms.

And as always feel free to get in touch with me if you have any questions!

    Cheers,

    Kris Kasianovitz
    GODORT Membership Chair, 2012-13

ALA Annual Conference is just around the corner - but there is still plenty of time and room for you to book in the GODORT sub-block at the Sheraton (Co-headquarter) Hotel.
