    Event: Museum of Virtual Media (a LIVE exhibit tour and closing celebration)
    The Digital Revolution may have rapidly advanced but media has been evolving for a long, long time. Come visit the Museum of Virtual Media and witness the evolution of media through an immersive experience.

    Who? Graduates from the University of Washington iSchool's Certificate in Virtual Worlds 2012 have created the Museum of Virtual Media and the Texas Library Association SL Group has built a display at the Community Virtual Library. The Museum of Virtual Media is an interactive 3D representation of the vision presented in Chapter 2 of Infinite Reality, a recently released book on virtual worlds technology and education written by Jim Blascovich and Jeremy Bailenson.

    When? January 30th 5pm SLT.  Tour will begin at the exhibit, teleport visitors to the museum, and end with closing festivities.

    Where? CVL Exhibition Area on Info Island in Second Life

    Optional Attire:  You are invited to dress from any period in history.

    Come experience media as you never have with colleagues from around the globe.
