The 2013 NMRT President’s Program committee seeks potential speakers for the topic, “Build your Professional Toolkit.” This program is for information professionals looking to set themselves apart from the crowd.
We are looking for speakers who have knowledge in the following topics (beyond the typical stuff you learn in library school):
- Project Management
- Emotional Intelligence
- Interview experience
- Management/Supervisory experience
Potential speakers should submit the following by Friday, January 18, 2013:
- A short synopsis of 250 words or less why they would like to share their knowledge with the library community.
- Your Resume

Come and join us to learn about what other librarians from a variety of environments consider the essential items in their professional toolkit that have led to position, job, and career success.
The president’s program will take place at the ALA Annual Conference in Chicago. Everyone is invited to attend.
