GODORT Seeking Nominees for Depository Library Council

  • 1.  GODORT Seeking Nominees for Depository Library Council

    Posted Oct 12, 2012 08:52 AM

Each year the Government Documents Round Table nominates up to five individuals to be recommended for appointment to the Depository Library Council (DLC) to the Public Printer. Although appointments are made by the Public Printer, this process gives GODORT an opportunity to nominate colleagues who will be effective advocates and leaders in the depository community.

If you are going to DLC next week, talk to the councilors about their experience and consider nominating yourself for this important position! If you’re participating virtually, listen closely and think about the difference you could make as a member of council! Find more information about DLC, including the list of current councilors here: http://www.fdlp.gov/home/dlc

For more information on the nomination process, or to nominate yourself or a colleague see: http://www.ala.org/godort/godortcommittees/godortnominating/dlcform

Nominations are due by December 1, 2012.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
