We had very little turn-out for the virtual meeting on August 31. Only 3 members called in (2 excluding me) but we still had a good discussion.
I am adding the notes, kindly taken by Amanda, to the documents here on Connect. I will also attach them to this message for your perusal.
Two housekeeping items:
- We will be using Google Docs (soon to be Google Drive, apparently) for all our collaborative works in progress. Please let me know your preferred email to share these docs with if you already have a Docs account linked up with one. If you don't already use Google Docs, you can set up an account with any email address, just please let me know what it is.
- We will be using Connect for official committee documents, and they are posted in our documents section already.
You will see in the notes that we are forming two working groups to work on two projects, which Cheryl & I think are manageable within the year. Please choose a group that you would like to work with, and consider if you would like to lead or co-lead your chosen group. We'd like people to take ownership of the groups so that we can stay on track with progress and not let things stall.
Cheryl and I will be in touch soon regarding project plans/deadlines and meeting at Midwinter.
