RSS Marketing and PR Committee's goals:
- ALA Annual: "Slam the Boards" as a 'flipped' workshop in collaboration with MARS. The workshop, provided by Bill Pardue, will be given as a webinar prior to ALA Annual (June 2013). During ALA Annual, we'll have a lively discussion (World Cafe' style? Brainstorming?) to bring out elements regarding marketing and libraries, and the online environment.
- Joint collaboration on marketing initiatives, as discussed during RSS online meeting in July. These are forming now.
- Continued committee work on indentifying marketing goals that pertain to our group, RUSA, and our libraries.
- A peripheral goal -- to continue to be involved with the "Just Ask" (or "Ask") campaign.
