2012-13 Goals

RSS Marketing and PR Committee's goals:

  1. ALA Annual: "Slam the Boards" as a 'flipped' workshop in collaboration with MARS.  The workshop, provided by Bill Pardue, will be given as a webinar prior to ALA Annual (June 2013).  During ALA Annual, we'll have a lively discussion (World Cafe' style?  Brainstorming?) to bring out elements regarding marketing and libraries, and the online environment.
  2. Joint collaboration on marketing initiatives, as discussed during RSS online meeting in July.  These are forming now.
  3. Continued committee work on indentifying marketing goals that pertain to our group, RUSA, and our libraries.
  4. A peripheral goal -- to continue to be involved with the "Just Ask" (or "Ask") campaign.
