-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Update:  Our Committee meeting is set for Friday, September 21 at 3:00 to 4:00 Eastern.  This will give me a little time to practice on Blackboard!Agenda items:

  1. ALA Annual Conference workshop construction (Flipping "Slam the Boards" and what this entails) with joint sponsorship.  We can really do a lot!
  2. Brief updates from committee members about their home libraries' marketing initiatives; sharing ideas.
  3. ALA Midwinter
  4. August RSS meeting update - how our committee can work with others on research, etc.

It will be a quick hour!  Please plan to log in a few minutes early to the meeting and use a headset if at all possible to eliminate extraneous noise.  I will send meeting login info as we near the time. Thank you!--Cathay

Here is the link to the Doodle scheduler so we can determine a time to meet: http://doodle.com/z52n9ercwtcrysbfPlease respond by September 5.Topics:  ALA Annual joint workshop, collaboration with other RSS committees on marketing initiatives, building upon our marketing ideas.Thanks!--Cathay

It's time to meet!   Let's set up a web meeting, using RUSA's Blackboard Collaborate tool.  Liane provided software training and I'm rarin' to go!

Since it's been difficult to find a day and time for us to meet even for an hour online during this past year, I'd like to start with a basic:  Which days of the week are better for our group?  I've divided "Mornings" and "Afternoons" by each day, but I will somehow need to know your time zone, so for this poll, consider everything to be in Eastern time.  You should receive an email notice about the poll; please vote for your optimal day and time of day when you have a moment.

Then I'll pare down options in a Doodle poll for specific times.  Hopefully this will work!

Please let me know if you have any trouble or questions about this.  Thanks!
