Edward G. Holley Memorial Lecture (LHRT)

Saturday, June 23, 2012
4:00 pm to 5:30 pm

US/Pacific (-7)

The Edward G. Holley Lecture is a presentation on library history from a scholar outside of the library history field.

Architectural historian Abigail Van Slyck looks closely at the Carnegie libraries in New Zealand, asking how libraries—their physical spaces as well as their collections—helped sustain an imagined community called the Anglo-Saxon race.
