Hi. I couldn't remember what the agenda was going to be for this meeting. I hope we can find out if ALA will have any sort of area in Second Life. I've been fortunate enough to be able to use an area on one of the Stanford U islands for a poster session for my UCLA iSchool information literacy course. But it would be even better if we had an ALA area for this and for programs and workshops, as well as exhibits. I could also use a sandbox where both those doing posters and my students could build for their presentations.

On another topic, I wonder about posting messages here and in the SLL Google Group. It seems duplicative, but then again I don't remember to come to this site to check for posts and comments on them.

   Best,

      Esther/Alexandria Knight

I'm sorry, Esther, I thought you were at the MIG Meeting during Midwinter when ALA's Island closure and the plans for the next step were discussed. We can discuss it again at the upcoming meeting on the 12th if you'd like. Or I can go over it with you inworld, as well.
