Information needed for Interface by December 15, 2011

Hello Everyone,

Interface, ASCLA's e-newsletter, would like to hear from your interest group about any news, programs, activities, projects, plans, etc. that you are working on.

Please send a paragraph or 2 to Anne Abate: anne@librarydiscountnetwork.com by Dec. 15, 2011. We'll also include the link to your connect group if you provide it so that you can recruit more members!

Best Wishes,

I sent a brief update to Anne with the following:

Here are a few projects the Library Services for Incarcerated Youth interest group is working on :

- Robbie Reasoner is organizing presenters for a series of webinars on libraries in juvenile detention facilities

- Amy Cheney, Angela Craig, and I are preparing for a presentation through YALSA at ALA 2012... hopefully co-sponsored with ASCLA, but we're not sure yet.

- We've scheduled an virtual group meeting through ASCLA using GoToMeeting.... that's on January 11th from 1-3 and hopefully will be available as an archived meeting for those who can't attend at that time.

- Camden Tadhg is working diligently on the website for libraries serving incarcerated youth

I can’t flesh these out right now, but if you’d like more info on any of these, please let me know!
