Sensory Storytime Handouts

Thank you to everyone who attended the Sensory Storytime program at ALA Annual!  We hope that you'll spread this great programming across the country!

The powerpoint presentations and handouts from the session have been attached here for you to review or for those who were unable to attend the session.

If you're interested in this topic, please join this ALA Connect community as well so we can keep the conversation going.

I'm also attaching here the handouts from Dr. Ricki Robinson's presentation at the ALSC President's Program at Annual for anyone interested in her perspective on autism from a medical standpoint.

A new picture book that could be added to the Sensory Booklist is I'm Here by Peter H. Reynolds. I also really like the book Argus by Michelle Knudsen - it's a humorous look at embracing differences.
