The Frontier Five

Mary Fellows has clarified that The Frontier Five are actually the second wave of committees that ALSC Is specifically
asking to try operating virtually.
The Frontier Five, then, are: Oral HistoryChildren and Libraries Advisory CommitteeEducation
Managing Children’s Services
Arbuthnot.
The other five - Children and Technology, Quicklists, Great Websites, Grants Administration, and Scholarships - have moved in the virtual
direction already. Mary says we can call these the Explorer Five!
So...we need to each select one of the committees of the true Frontier Five and contact committee chairs and PGCs of these groups. We should also check the bylaws for the Explorer Five to see that the bylaws accurately reflect each committee's organization.

This is a reminder that we should be in touch with committee chairs and PGCs of these groups. We should also check the bylaws for the Explorer Five ( Children and Technology, Quicklists, Great Websites, Grants Administration, and Scholarships) to see that the bylaws accurately reflect each committee's organization.  The Frontier Five committees we are responsible for are as follows: Oral History - Susan PolosChildren and Libraries Advisory Committee - Gene NelsonEducation - Alene SternliebManaging Children’s Services - Melissa McBrideArbuthnot - Destinee Sutton
