January 9, 2011
Boston Convention Center Room 155

10:30-noon

Advocacy:   Maximizing the Message
Join the ACRL DLS Discussion Group at ALA Midwinter to talk about advocacy.  How are you making the case for the importance of distance education librarianship at your institution?   What techniques are you using to advocate for your distance education library programs?  What has been successful and what hasn’t worked so well?  Please join us to share your ideas on how Distance Education Librarians can become better advocates and why it is important that we take on the role of advocate.
