Ring in the new year with the Dance Librarians Discussion Group!

Please join us on January 3, 2011 at 2:00 EST for a bonus virtual meeting prior to San Diego.  Our special guest at that time will be New York City Ballet soloist and film producer, Ellen Bar, whose N.Y. Export: Opus Jazz was released recently on DVD.  Ellen has agreed to be available to answer your questions about the film via chat for about a half hour or so.

Nearly five years in the making, N.Y. Export: Opus Jazz, is a new adaptation of Jerome Robbins' 1958 "ballet in sneakers," shot on location in various sites in New York.  For more information on the project, see: http://opusjazz.com/.

We will be using the third-party software, dimdim, for this text chat, but you do not have to register with the site.  Please let me know the e-mail address you wish to use and I will send you an invitation to the meeting directly.
