Discussion Hello from Florida!

by Sara F. Johnson on Mon, Nov 1, 2010 at 10:38 am

Hi Everyone!

I am a very late to the game here, but glad to be a part of this mentoring program! My name is Sara Fitzgerald and I started in public libraries in 2006, left to complete my undergrad degree, and returned in January 2009. I recently got a new position that has me doing all the children/teen programming and outreach at a small branch library in our system. I will be completing my MLIS from FSU this December and am looking forward to participating and learning all I can from this mentoring program.

Nice to meet everyone!

I am currently the Adminstrative Assistant for the Best Fiction for Young Adults Committee with YALSA and a member of the Teen Tech Week Committee. I have lived in Las Vegas all of my life and I am married to my high school sweetheart, Brian. We have 4 furry four legged children that we love to play with. I am excited about this opportunity and looking forward to working with all of you.
